Jewelry Care
Most of our jewelry is made from 925 sterling silver, a highly recognized and widely used material. 925 sterling silver is composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, as pure silver is too soft for jewelry. You can identify this by the 925 stamp on the piece.
For gold-colored jewelry, 925 sterling silver is sometimes plated with a layer of 14/18-carat gold, giving it a luxurious gold finish. Additionally, some jewelry pieces may be coated with a gold-colored metal layer for a more affordable alternative, but this layer is not as durable as gold plating.
We also offer jewelry made from stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy that’s perfect for everyday wear. Stainless steel is fully recyclable and can be silver-plated to achieve a silver-like appearance, or it can be further plated with a gold-colored layer for a chic combination.
Jewelry made from stainless steel is known for its durability and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for long-lasting wear, while maintaining its sleek appearance over time.
For rings, some of our pieces feature zircon stones, a brilliant and cost-effective alternative to diamonds, providing the same sparkle and beauty.
Jewelry Care
Over time, all jewelry can experience color fading, which depends on how often and how long it is worn, as well as how it is treated. Skin acidity, influenced by diet, medication, and other factors, can also affect the jewelry, potentially causing discoloration.
To extend the life of your jewelry, it’s recommended to remove it during physical activities, swimming, showering, or when washing hands, cleaning, or gardening. Jewelry should be kept away from:
- Perfume
- Makeup
- Creams
- Hairspray
- Cleaning products
To clean your jewelry, use the included cleaning cloth. Store your jewelry in a dark, dry place, avoiding bathrooms or direct sunlight. The best option is to store it in the bag it came in to keep it in pristine condition.
